Some mini cards...

Maybe it's a bit boring but I have to share some cards again :). I made a set of mini cards last weekend.

I have been using the same design for each card, but changed the background and the papers here and there. And... I didn't use any text stamps on these cards. So I can use them for any occassion.

Another card...

Yes, I have another card to share...

I almost can't remember making something else... It's about time to make a mini scrapbook or something, I quess....as for my cards I only use tiny litlle papers. It turns out that I can't get rid of my papaers. Buying new papars is like an addiction, don't you think? And I like them so much I don't want to cut in it. Do you feel the same about some papers?

Card patterns sketch 99

Last weekend I had lots of free time to create. So I did! Card patterns sketch 99 was a great source of inspiration for me... this is what I came up with:

For this card I used some old papers. I really enjoy creating with my old left overs... maybe I keep to much of it, but you never know what it's good for (is this even an English sentence, or is it me speaking English the Dutch way?)...

A friendly card

Last Sunday I spend time creating card with my mother in law. We've been creating for a few hours. I have been using some of her pattered papers. I made this card with colours I don't often use. But I really like the result. Isn't it a friendly card?

(I don't know the designer of this card anymore... I will ask my mother in law...).

Twisted sketches #042

This will be my last post for today :). Yes, it's about a challenge again. I also found a nice sketch over at Twisted sketches. This is the card I created Sunday:

Card positioning systems sketch #201

Last sunday I had enough time to create lots of cards. So I decided to give myself another challenge. I found this nice blog: Card Positioning Systems with another nice sketch I tried. This is the result. I'm not too happy about it, but the colours are nice, I guess...

Card patterns sketch 98

This week I decided to join some challenges. So I have been looking around and found some nice sketches. One of them was the card patterns sketch 98. This is my card:

Not my best ever...

I made this card last week, but I'm not sure if I like it. It's certainly not my best card ever but I like the colours. Hopefully I can make some better ones this weekend.

Have a good weekend!

Handmade cards for men... mission impossible?

I think it's very difficult to create cards for men. Most of the time I start creating one, but it turns out to be a female card at the end. Probably because I like flowers and bling bling so much? This week I have been trying again: I think this is as close as I can get...

Scrap lift Happy birthday

Almost every day I watch a few blogs I love. To see what's new or to get inspirated. A while ago I saw a simple but nice card on Laurie's blog Soapbox Creations. I wanted to create the same card, but with different paper off course. This is the result of the scrap lift:

Happy anniversary...

This month my mom and dad will celebrate their 29th wedding anniversary! That's worth a pretty card I guess. So I created this one:

A little 'With love' card...

Saturday I was creating cards with my new distress ink. This card is not one of my favorites, but I like to show you how I combined my cuttlebug embossing folders with ink... it's fun to do.

Today I have to work, but I hope I can join some card challanges tuesday and show you some more results.

Happy new creative year...

Welcome everybody in 2011. I hope it will be a year full of inspiration, new products and lots of cards and little presents. Today my boyfriends grandmother celebrates her birthday. So later today we will visit her. Off course I created her a hand made card. She creates cards herself, so I can never show up with a bought card :)...

This is what I came up with using my new colours of distress ink:
I bought the ink Friday in my local scrapstore Simpel Scrappen in Den Helder. I wasn't really sure what to do with it, so I decided to watch soms examples at YouTube. I like how it turned out.

I also did some inking in the inside:

My hands were very dirty after creating this cards, but I had fun making it. I want to see more examples, because I know there will be more to do with distress ink. Later this week I will show you a mini book with pictures of Dennis and me.
